Just what I needed right where and when I needed it. Friendly staff offered free hot coffee and cold beer at a reasonable price. It's on the highway (truck route) so it can get noisy but the nice man looking after everything in the evening thoughtfully put me in the back where I slept soundly after checking in late. Strong wi-fi. Clean and well-kept. New sheets, comfortable bed. Instant hot water. Towel, soap, bottle of water. Cold A/C. Well-kept grounds, nice looking building, benches on the balcony The toilet could have used a seat and the shower a curtain, but that's not out of the ordinary in this part of Mexico. I was a bit surprised though, given the care with everything else. Decent value for the price for a single night. $600 pesos. I have stayed in better hotels for less, but I have also paid more for far worse. I may have paid a bit of a gringo premium, but it is 2025 now. Perfect to split your drive across the isthmus if you get caught driving at night. The road is very bad in spots and it's better to stop than to carry on. Not much else in the neighborhood though and it's outside Telcel or AT&T cell service.
